So, here's the thing: I haven't really liked my account name for awhile now. I really wish DA had an option to change user names. Even if it were some sort of really strictly regulated system it would just make everything SO MUCH easier.
But since I CAN'T do that, that means NEW ACCOUNT.
I created this account: radio2mars.deviantart.com/ yesterday, and eventually I'll actually start using it. I'm probably still going to be hanging around as 'LadyDoom' for awhile yet, but when I (eventually) have new stuff to share I'll be posting it to my new DA.
Just in case anyone cares, I won't be taking down any of my work here down; I'll just leave this account as is.
In other news, Nanowrimo is devouring my soul bit by bit. @_@ Dunno if I'm going to be able to make it through the month alive...only time will tell.
EDIT:
So, uh, yeah. Haven't actually been using the new account. At all. May in the future, but until further notice I'll be sticking with this account till I feel like setting up the new one properly.

Post-Nanowrimo. Bring on the Holidays!
My first weekend without nanowrimo
haha it felt strange this week not spending every free moment typing away at my computer :P
I did, in fact, make it past 50k (yay me!) but I didn't actually finish the story. : I didn't really have a grasp on how much and how little 50,000 words were and spent a lot of time dithering around and figuring out who the characters were at the beginning before finding my way with the plot. I should have outlined, but, eh, oh well. Live and learn I suppose. And I did learn. Nanowrimo was a great experience. Stressful as heck at times, and I'm afraid to reread any of what I've written out of fear of wh
To Whom It May Concern...
Dear Other Story Ideas, Activities That Are Not Writing, and Homework,
Other story ideas and activities that are not writing: You lot can wait until December after Nanowrimo is over, can't you? I mean, it's not THAT far away, so leave me alone.
Also, homework. Stop being overbearing. It's annoying. Just because break is coming up doesn't mean you get to jump at me from all directions at once.
No Love,
Me
P.S. Nanowrimo is insane. I've been slightly behind in word count for about a week, but I'm hoping to amend that this weekend. I've never written so much in so little time before...and at times it's a rather fun, and almost...I dun
Nanowrimo
So, November is fast approaching which means Nanowrimo is just around the corner. Last year I got an account, but never actually went through with it since marching band was still going on and consuming all of my time...
This year however, Im planning to actually write something. Ive been writing down ideas for a few weeks now, but I simply cant outline stories; Im more of a spontaneous writer so
the wait is making me a bit anxious. ^_^
Oh well, November will get here when it gets here.
Edit:
This is quite possibly one of the most insane things ever. 50,000 words has never felt so daunting. I have
Curse You Poishrooommmm D:
So I broke down this morning and bought the Protomen's newest album on itunes this morning simply because I wanted to jam to "The Hounds" on the way to class.
I blame you completely Poishroom. I wouldn't have even known it was out if you hadn't told me, and I'd have lived in blissful ignorance.
But no. NO. Instead I can't stop listening to "the Hounds" and "the Good Doctor" in particular. Man, I broke down and bought this album faster than I did the first one. Mostly because the singers for Dr. Light and Wiley are made of pure WIN.
-goes back to listening to the album on repeat and inadvertently memorizing the lyrics-
